Marzipan

Preparation Time: 30 Minutes

Ingredients:
- 2 cups ground almonds
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 egg white

Instructions:
- Put almonds in boiling water long enough to loosen skins.
- Remove skins. Grind almonds and mix with egg white, 1 up of the sugar and flavoring. Mix. Work the rest of the sugar in by hand.
- May be made into shapes with food coloring added for the appropriate color. Make into shapes and dip into chocolate, if desired.
